Fall Break Rafting Trip
On Monday, September 20th, 4 buses packed with 48 students (High School & Middle School) departed around 8am on a journey to the Nantahala River. We stopped for a quick lunch, then got on the river. The water was SO COLD! It felt as though my legs were frozen stiff!
We rafted a few class three rapids, and even rafted over a “Bump!” Everyone had a great time, and most got splashed. Some lucky students even got pulled off the rafts, into the arctic temperature rushing waters. Here are some pictures of the group on the river, from Rolling Thunder Rapids Co.
